BILLY HOELCK, WAGNER

Hoelck continued her tremendous 2008 campaign with 19 goals and 6 assists in two days at the Claremont Convergence as Wagner went 4-0. She had 4 goals against host Claremont, followed by 7 goals and an assist versus Occidental. On day two, she had 3 goals and 2 assists against Redlands and 5 goals and 3 asissts against Pomona-Pitzer, the team that knocked the Seahawks out of the 2007 NCAA Tournament. She also had 8 steals, 4 field blocks, and 5 ejections drawn.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
KATHLEEN LINK, IONA
G, Fr., 5-7, Humble, TX/Humble
Link played every minute of all five games this past week as the Gaels went 4-1. In total, she tallied 53 saves and allowed 39 goals, 20 of which came in a loss to Hartwick. Her goals against average was 7.80. Link allowed just two goals and made 13 saves versus Slippery Rock and made 11 saves against both Boston College and Notre Dame.

THALITA PALADINO, ST. FRANCIS (NY)
2M, Fr., 5-10, Boca Raton, FL/Boca Raton Community
Paladino helped lead St. Francis to a 5-0 record on the week, improving the Terriers to 7-4 overall. She totaled 15 goals on the week, including five against Queens in the home opener and another five against Colorado College in the first game of the Claremont Convergence. She added three against Chapman and two versus Fresno Pacific.
