MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
LAUREN WALSH,

Walsh led the Griffs to a 3-0 week, posting 13 points
on seven goals and six assists. The senior opened the week with a four-point
performance against Gannon, scoring a goal and adding three assists. In the
Griffs’ overtime victory over Lehigh, Walsh scored a goal and added two assist.
She had her best performance of the season against Howard, leading the team to
a convincing 22-6 victory. She matched a career high with seven points, scoring
four goals and recording three assists.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
ALLISON DALEY,
CANISIUS
G, Fr., 5-4, Ayer,
Ma./Lawrence Academy
Daley continued her strong play in net, helping the
Griffs earn three victories during the week. During the three games, Daley
posted a goals against average of 8.71 and a save percentage of .500. Daley
recorded 12 saves in the overtime victory over Lehigh, nine against Gannon and
six against Howard. She also posted two caused turnovers and five ground balls
during the week.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
KRISTEN COLEMAN,
FAIRFIELD
M, Fr., 5-11, Potomac, Md./Holy Cross
Coleman netted five goals, including
the game-winner, in the Stags first-ever win over Lehigh in the team’s lone
game of the week. The five goals is a single-game career-high, as is her seven
total points in the game. Coleman had a hand in each of the Stags overtime
goals in the win, assisting on the first goals, and scoring the game-winner.
She also picked up a pair of draw controls and had one caused turnover.
