MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

KRISTEN COLEMAN, FAIRFIELD
M, Fr., 5-11, Potomac, Md./Holy Cross

The rookie continues to lead the Stags offense, tallying 10 points in the team’s two wins on the week. Coleman has now scored five or more points in each of her last four games. She scored the game-winning goal in overtime in the Stags MAAC game at Marist on Saturday, after winning the draw and going straight to net. In the win over the Red Foxes she tallied five total points, netting two goals and dishing out three assists. In a non-conference win over Wagner she had five points, with a pair of goals and three assists. In addition, Coleman had three ground balls, three caused turnovers and two draw controls.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

LAUREN CHATNIK, FAIRFIELD
G, Jr., 5-4, Schenectady, N.Y./Guilderland

Chatnik picked up two more wins in net on the week, and in the process became the Stags all-time leader in that category, with 19 for her career. She played all 126 minutes on the week, making 14 saves. She made six stops in the overtime win over Marist. She also had two ground balls and a caused turnover in the league win. She made eight stops against Wagner.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

CAITLIN MIKEL, SIENA
A, Fr., 5-6, Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit


Mikel added yet another hat trick to her already impressive resume in the Saints’ lone game of the week on Thursday at Holy Cross. Mikel found the back of the net in three of her four shots on goal and added a groundball. On the season, the freshman phenom leads the team in goals (11), assists (10) and points (21).
