Moran
led the Keydets to their first win of the season Wednesday afternoon, as the
sophomore scored four goals and dished out three assists against Presbyterian.
The Garden State native now leads VMI in scoring
during the 2008 campaign.

Courteau
anchored the Griffs defense in a tight 12-11 overtime defeat to Colgate. The
senior recorded 15 saves, his personal best in a Canisius uniform. He also
recorded one caused turnover and added three ground balls.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
NICK LOCOCO, CANISIUS
A, Fr., 5-9, Cicero,
N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse
Led the Griffs offense an overtime defeat to Colgate, recording eight points on a goal and seven assists. LoCoco had his hand in eight of the team’s 11 goals and in just his second collegiate match, he tied the single-game record for assists. LoCoco tied the program’s record set in 1992 by Jason Cummings and matched by Mark Miyashita in 2000. Through two games this season, LoCoco leads the Griffs with 10 points on one goal and nine assists.
