AMANDA BRUCIA, IONA

Brucia
was named the Siena Invitational Most Valuable Player after leading the Gaels
to the team title with 16 points in the three games. She had two goals and two
assists against Utica,
and then tallied three goals and two assists against Gannon. Against host Siena in the Championship
Game, Brucia scored four goals, including one in overtime, and recorded three
assists to lead the Gaels to a 9-8 overtime win.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
KATHLEEN LINK, IONA
G, Fr., 5-7, Humble, TX/Humble
Link played every minute of Iona's three games at the Siena Invitational, recording 30 saves and a .600 save percentage. She posted a 6.7 goals against average and made 12 saves in the Championship Game. Link was named to the All-Tournament First Team.

Wood was named to the Siena Invitational All-Tournament
Second Team after scoring seven goals and recording three assists in the three
games. In the Gael's first game against Utica,
she had three goals and two assists. She followed that up with a four goal, one
assist performance against Gannon.
