Saint Peter's Director of Athletics Bill Stein Honored at the 2008 Citizens Bank MAAC Basketball Championships

Albany, N.Y. ? Saint Peter’s College Director of Athletics Bill Stein was honored at the 2008 Citizens Bank MAAC Basketball Championships for his years of service for the league and at the Jersey City, N.J. school.
Stein recently announced his retirement following 28 years of service. Beginning with his appointment in 1981, he has been an active leader in collegiate athletics and the MAAC. During his tenure, Saint Peter’s has captured 17 MAAC Championships in seven different sports, realized unprecedented improvements in its athletic facilities, and has played a key role in community service and youth athletic programs.
Stein was presented a plaque recognizing all his achievements by MAAC Commissioner Richard J. Ensor along with Athletic Directors and Senior Woman Administrators from the other member schools of the MAAC.
