MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
LAUREN PETERSON, IONA
2M, Jr., 5-8, Flossmore, IL/Flossmore
Peterson led Iona
with 25 points over three games including 14 goals and 11 assists in the team's
sweep of the Villanova Invitational. Peterson tallied five goals apiece in wins
over Mercyhurst and the host Wildcats. She added five assists against Villanova
for a weekend best 10-point effort.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
ALEXANDRA
TOMLINSON, WAGNER
A, Sr., 5-3, Telford, PA/Souderton
Tomlinson nabbed six steals against Queens while
grabbing two each in the Michigan and Indiana games. She
totaled 10 steals in the Seahawks' four games this week. Tomlinson also had
drawn ejections against Queens and Santa
Clara.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
MAGGIE WOOD, IONA
U, Fr., 5-10, Evergreen Park, IL/Mother
McAuley
Wood was the squad's top rookie with 10 goals and an
assist in the team's 3-0 weekend at the Villanova Invitational. She had at
least a hat trick in each of the three games, including a weekend-high four
goals and an assist in the win over Mercyhurst.
