David Dudish, Fairfield
Sophomore, 3B, 6-2/200, Olney, Md./Georgetown Prep
Dudish batted .467 (7-for-15) with a .733 slugging percentage, five RBI, and four runs scored. In addition, he was hit by two pitches while recording a sacrifice hit. In the series win against Siena, Dudish was a combined 6-for-11 with all of his RBI and runs coming against the Saints. In the opening game against Siena, Dudish hit his first homer of the season to help the Stags to the 6-4 win. In game two, Dudish was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. He concluded the series by going 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored.
MAAC Pitcher of the Week
Dan Lazzaroni, Siena
Freshman, OF, 5-10/170, Roswell, Ga./Lassiter
Lazzaroni hurled a two-hit shutout in the Saints’ 4-0 non-conference win over Vermont. He allowed just two hits, becoming only the 16th Saint since 1990 to pitch a two-hitter. The freshman walked just one batter and allowed only one runner to reach second base in his seven innings of work. He collected four strikeouts.

Chad Salem, Manhattan
Freshman, INF, 5-11/198, Rye, N.Y./Iona Prep
Salem blasted two home runs, drove in five RBIs and harbored a .722 slugging percentage, leading the Jaspers to three wins over its four MAAC contests last week. He made all five starts, posted a .333 batting average, scored five runs and registered a double. Salem’s two homers helped lift Manhattan to a series win over Niagara. He currently leads the team with four on the season. Salem also stole a base on the week.
