MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
LAUREN WALSH, CANISIUS
A, Sr., 5-3, Auburn, N.Y./Auburn
Walsh led the Griffs to a perfect 3-0 week, recording a team-best 14 points on six goals and eight assists. In the win against Niagara, Walsh posted a team-best seven points on two goals and five assists in the Senior Day victory. Against Iona, Walsh recorded three points on a goal and an assist. She then led the Griffs to clinching a spot in the 2008 MAAC Tournament with four points on three goals and an assist against Manhattan. Her assist was the 100th of her career, making her the 34th player in NCAA history to reach the 100-assist plateau.

REBECCA WHITE, FAIRFIELD
M, Jr., 5-7, Spring Lake, N.J./St. Rose
White was a force on both sides of the ball as the Stags went 3-0 on the week, including the program’s first-ever win over Columbia. She led the way with eight caused turnovers and seven ground balls for the week. White also won four draw controls.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
KRISTEN COLEMAN, FAIRFIELD
M, Fr., 5-11, Potomac, Md./Holy Cross
Coleman scored a team-best 13 points in the Stags 3-0 week, and in the process became the Stags single-season points record holder, finishing the week with 81. She had an impressive all around week, with 11 goals, two assists, eight caused turnovers, five ground balls and two draw controls. She took 20 shots, putting 19 (95%) on net, and scoring 11 (55 percent).
