Manhattan and Saint Peter's Split MAAC Weekly Honors

Edison, N.J.- Manhattan’s Milos Vuckovic was named MAAC Male Track and Field Performer of the Week, while Saint Peter’s Ronnah Parham received the honor on the women’s side.
Vuckovic, a sophomore from Serbia, became the sixth Jasper to qualify for the NCAA Regional Outdoor Track and Field Championships when he ran a time of 9:01.63 in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Larry Ellis Invitational held at Princeton University. Vuckovic, who finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase, joins shot putter Marina Vujinovic, triple jumper Dexter Jules, hammer throwers Seid Mujanovic and Paul Peulich and javelin thrower Kosta Randjic, all of whom qualified for the NCAA regionals in earlier meets this spring.
Ronnah Parham, a freshman from Piscataway, NJ led the Peahens to a third place finish at the 2008 CTC Track and Field Championships. She won the 100 hurdles, the 200 meter dash and was on the winning 4x400 relay team. She also placed second in the 400 hurdles.
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track Championships will be held on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J.
