Manhattan Sweeps Track and Field Weekly Awards

Edison, N.J.- Manhattan’s Paul Peulich and Siir Fagerlund were name male and female MAAC Track and Field Performers of the Week, respectively.
Fagerlund, a freshman from Helsingborg, Sweden, took first place in the 100 meter hurdles at the Yale Springtime Invitational held Sunday in New Haven, Conn. She ran the event in 14.47.
Peulich, a senior from Melbourne, Australia, grabbed second place in the men's college championship hammer throw event at the prestigious Penn Relays held this weekend in Philadelphia. Peulich posted a mark of 63.56m, and just missed first place, being shaded for the top spot by LSU's Rabun Fox, who posted a 63.61m mark
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track Championships will be held on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J
