Coleman, Burkhard, and O'Sullivan Earn Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

KRISTEN COLEMAN, FAIRFIELD
M, Fr., 5-11, Potomac,
Md./Holy Cross
Coleman paced the Stags to a 3-0 week by tallying 20
points, including 16 goals and four assists. She has tallied five or more
points in each of the last seven games.
Coleman totaled a career-high nine points in the Stags come from behind
win over UConn, and then tallied five points at Manhattan and six points in a
home win over Iona. She scored a career-high seven goals against the Huskies,
including the game-winner. She netted four goals against Manhattan
and five goals against Iona. Against Iona she set the single-season freshman point record,
moving to 57, which is 14 shy of the all-time record.

LIZ BURKHARD,
MARIST
G, Sr., 5-3, Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh
Burkhard was great in Marist’s 3-0 week, as she made
29 saves and had a save percentage of .547.
Burkhard also had eight ground balls and caused a turnover. She made
seven saves in a 22-4 win over Lafayette and
made seven more saves in the Red Foxes’ 15-13 win at Iona. Burkhard was especially good against Manhattan, as she made 15
saves and had three ground balls.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
KAITLYN O’SULLIVAN,
MARIST
M, Fr., 5-6, Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown
In two games played, O’Sullivan had
five total points. In the Red Foxes’ 22-4 win over Lafayette, she assisted on one goal. On
Sunday, she had a huge game against Manhattan
as she scored four times and was in the middle of a 10-0 Red Foxes scoring run.
She also was credited with the game-winning goal against the Jaspers.
