MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
LAUREN PETERSON, IONA
2M, Jr., 5-8, Flossmore, IL/Flossmore
Peterson led Iona to a 3-2 week (2-2 MAAC) with 32 points on 21 goals
and 11 assists. In the Gaels first MAAC game of the season against Villanova,
she recorded eight points on six goals and two assists. She followed that up
with a seven goal performance in a loss to Marist. Peterson had three goals and
three assists against Wagner and five goals and two assists versus Siena.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
ELIZABETH DAVIS,
MARIST
G, Sr., 5-10, Albuquerque, NM/Valley
Davis led the Red Foxes to a perfect 4-0 weekend to start
conference play. She made 32 saves in Marist’s four games, giving up only 25
goals. The senior made 11 saves in Marist’s 12-6 win over Villanova, and held Siena and St. Francis
(N.Y.) to four goals each.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
DEVAN RAGG, SIENA
A, Fr., 5-6, Ann Arbor, MI/Ann Arbor Pioneer
In four games this week, Ragg tallied 14 points on
nine goals and five assists. In addition, she recorded three steals and drew
two ejections. Her best effort came against Wagner, as she poured in five
goals, including the game-winner, and added three assists.
