Final Day of 2008 MAAC Softball Championship to be Held at Fairfield University

Fairfield, Conn. - Due to poor field conditions at DeLuca Field, the championship round for the 2008 MAAC Softball Championship will take place at Fairfield University.
Game 6 featuring top-seeded Canisius College and fourth-seeded Marist College will be played today at 12:00 p.m. If Game 7 is necessary, it will take place at 2:00 p.m.
The winner of the 2008 MAAC Softball Championship earns the league’s automatic bid to the 2008 NCAA Division I Softball Championship.
