Fairfield's Paige Named Men's and Women's Tennis Coach of the Year

Edison, NJ ? Fairfield University head coach Ed Paige was named the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year, as announced today by the league office.
Paige led the Fairfield men to a 5-2 record in the league and an overall record of 13-10. The Stags finished as the MAAC runners-up after defeating second-seeded Niagara 5-2 to advance to the championship match.
On the women’s side, Paige guided the Stags to a 5-2 record in the MAAC (9-12 overall) and a runner-up finish at the MAAC Championship. The third seeded Stags defeated second-seeded Niagara 4-1 in the semifinal to advance to the championship match.
Paige, who has been the Fairfield head coach for two seasons, was an assistant for the Stags for five seasons. Prior to coming to Fairfield, Paige was heavily involved in youth tennis and spent six years as an editor at World Tennis Magazine.
