Ahna Johnson, Fairfield
M, Sr., 5-10, Hamden, Conn/Hamden
Johnson, a senior midfielder, recorded nine points on the week, netting four goals and one assist for the Stags. She had two game-winning tallies, a game-tying goal, assisted on a game-winning goal, and had two two-goal games. In a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Yale in overtime, Johnson had a career-best five points. She continued the streak against Jacksonville, with a two-goal day, in a 2-0 win. The game-winning tally in that contest was her third in as many games.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
Laura Ettinger, Siena
GK, Fr., 5-9, Macungie, Pa./Emmaus
Ettinger, a freshman goalkeeper, earned her first career shutout against the University of Albany and gave up just one goal vs. the University of Vermont for a GAA of .50. She made four saves in the two wins for the Saints.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
Kelly Boudreau, Fairfield
GK, Fr., 5-8, Farmington, Conn./Farmington
Boudreau, a freshman forward, picked up all three wins this week for the Stags, minding the net for all 290:22. She posted a GAA of 0.93, made 12 saves, recorded a shutout and two overtime victories. Against Yale, Boudreau made a pair of saves in 95 minutes of action. She then posted her second career shutout on Friday at Jacksonville, with a five-save effort. Boudreau made another five saves on Sunday, against Georgia State, in holding the fifth-ranked offense in the nation to one goal.
