MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

 

Ashleigh Barone, Siena

F, Fr., 5-6, Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa

Barone, a freshman forward, scored three goals in her first two collegiate games, leading Siena to a 2-0 record.  She scored the game winner against Rhode Island, and netted both Siena goals in a 2-1 victory over Youngstown State.  Barone leads the team with six points and two game-winning goals.

 

 

 

 

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

 

Kelly Boudreau, Fairfield

GK, Fr., 5-8, Farmington, Conn./Farmington

Boudreau, a freshman goalkeeper, recorded her first collegiate shutout in blanking the Big East’s Seton Hall on Sunday night.  She was credited with six saves in the game, a 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 GAA.  In addition, Boudreau knocked away three crosses that were headed to Seton Hall offensive players, preventing scoring opportunities from occurring.  She now boasts a save percentage of .905 and a GAA of 0.67.

 

 

 

MAAC Rookie of the Week

 

Kelly reinwald, Canisius

F, Fr., 5-6, Stafford, Va./North Stafford

Reinwald, a freshman forward, scored two goals against Howard, marking the first time in school history that a rookie had a multi-goal game.  She also recorded one goal and one assist against NJIT.  Reinwald assisted in the second goal of the game for a 2-0 lead. She now leads the team in points (11) with four goals and three assists.
