Manhattan Sweeps Indoor Track Weekly Awards

Edison, N.J. ? Manhattan College’s Kosta Randjic was selected as the MAAC Indoor Track Men’s Performer of the Week, while teammate Megan Tice was named the Women’s Performer of the Week.
Randjic, a senior from Belgrade, Serbia, took first place in the triple jump at the NYU Metro Coaches Invitational with a mark of 15.30-meters. That mark qualified him for the IC4A Indoor Championships and the Metropolitan Indoor Championships by one meter. The NYU Metro Coaches Invitational was held at the 168th Street Armory. He also finished fourth in the long jump at the meet with a 6.83-meter mark.
A sophomore from Hyde Park, N.Y., Tice joined Randjic in competing for the Jaspers at the NYU Metro Coaches Invitational. She finished first in the high jump with a mark of 1.70-meters, which ties the top mark achieved by a MAAC Women’s Indoor Track athlete so far this season. That mark also qualified her for the ECAC Indoor Championships and the Metropolitan Indoor Championships.
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track Championships will be held on Friday, February 20th at The Armory Track & Field Center in New York City.
