New Rochelle, NY- On Friday, November 20th members of the Iona College Men’s and Women’s’ Rowing team participated in the Iona College Advocacy Fair. Many clubs and organizations on campus set up tables in the End Zone and stressed a very severe problem on a display board along with ideas or organizations to help solve these problems. The members of the rowing team focused on Childhood Obesity and handed out pamphlets on the effects of childhood obesity and how to make it better with the information they received from the
www.obesity.org website. The Advocacy Fair is a great way to spread awareness throughout the Iona Community of issues going on outside Iona.
