MAAC Player of the Week

STEPHANIE GEEHAN, FAIRFIELD

Senior, Center, 6-2, Braintree, MA/Braintree

Geehan had a career night as she paced the Stags to a dominating 52-29 win over Lafayette. The senior pulled in a career-high 19 rebounds in the win. She also equaled a career-high with four assists in the outing and came close in two other categories. Her 14 points, second on the team, was one shy of equaling her career-best, while her six blocked shots, a game-high, is also in the neighborhood of a career mark. Geehan's 19 rebounds is the second-highest single-game total in program history.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

 

ASHLEY DURHAM, CANISIUS

Freshman, Guard, 5-5, Milville, N.J./Sacred Heart

Durham averaged 8.0 points per game and scored 11 points in the Canisius win at Youngstown State, reaching double-figures for the first time in her career. The freshman point guard also had six assists on Sunday, while shooting 3-for-5 from behind the arc. Durham hit 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions in the second half that put the game out of reach.
