Edison, NJ - Phoenix Design Works is proud to announce the launch of the new MAAC 30th Anniversary branding program. The new official anniversary branding program for the conference consists of multiple logo marks in modular executions and conference specific color palettes for all digital, broadcast and print media applications. The MAAC will celebrate its 30th Anniversary during the 2010-11 academic year.

“The MAAC has enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Phoenix over the years; it’s only fitting they would create the 30th Anniversary branding,” MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor said. “The deciding factor for the final look of our 30th branding is the unique equity inherent in the combined elements of our founding conference mark with the more recent MAAC branding created by Phoenix. We wanted a program that would resonate with all MAAC constituents and members of the MAAC family.”

“Working with Commissioner Ensor and the entire MAAC team has always been an honor for us,” noted Phoenix Design Works President & Creative Director James M. Skiles.

“I believe the new branding program conveys the promise of the MAAC,” continued Skiles, “They always strive to deliver the perfect balance of academic and athletic excellence, and they always put their student athletes first. The conference is a vital and pivotal focal point in the lives of all their member schools. To me, the MAAC experience is simply the best that there is.”

“Phoenix is grateful to all our friends at the MAAC,” said Phoenix Director of Account Services Amy Skiles, “But especially Whitney Swab, MAAC Director of Marketing, for all of her help and direction on the 30th project, and of course, Commissioner Ensor, who has had such a benevolent influence on Jamie and all of us here at Phoenix over the years, and really shaped the way we have come to understand collegiate branding. We couldn’t be happier for our friends at the MAAC on their 30th - Happy Birthday, and we wish you even greater success in the next thirty years to come.”
