Loudonville, NY- The Siena field hockey team recently volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Albany to cook dinner and spread some holiday cheer for residents. Ronald McDonald House Charities offer a place for families to stay who have a seriously ill or injured child undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

The field hockey squad visited the house on Dec. 11 and made baked macaroni and cheese as well as salad and special holiday cookies. Ronald McDonald House Charities is one of Siena's three Saints in the Community partners.

The Siena field hockey team recently completed one of its most successful seasons in school history and is geared up for an even better 2010.
