Poughkeepsie, NY- On Thursday, November 5, three cross country team members attended the Castle Point Veterans Administration Wheelchair Veterans practice at Holiday Lanes in Wappingers Falls. Tom Lipari, Tim Keegan, and Curtis Jensen assisted the veterans by retrieving their bowling balls, helping them setup the ramps for bowling and providing encouragement during their two-hour practice. Along with bowling, the Castle Point veterans practice and compete in track and field events. Marist track athletes plan on traveling to the Castle Point campus during the spring semester to assist the veterans in track/field practice.
