Marist Travels to Hartford for Mid-Major Clash on ESPN2

Edison, NJ - The Marist women's basketball team will travel to the University of Hartford to take on the Hawks on Sunday as part of ESPN's February Frenzy. The game will be televised live on ESPN2 with tip-off scheduled for 1:05 p.m from Chase Arena at the Reich Family Pavillion.
Marist, 13-2 in the MAAC and 22-3 overall, has won four of its last five, including a road victory at Fairfield on Thursday night that avenged one of the Red Foxes three losses this season. Marist has a 13-1 record away from home this season, with the lone loss coming at now second-ranked Oklahoma. The Red Foxes are led by junior forward Rachele Fitz, who is currently first in the MAAC in scoring (20.2 ppg), rebounding (9.2 rpg), and field goal percentage (59.1%).
Hartford, 14-8 overall and 9-1 in the America East, enter the game riding a six game winning streak and looking to protect its perfect record at home (8-0). The Hawks biggest win of the season came on November 21st, a 53-51 upset over now-#10 Duke. 6-2 junior Diana Delva leads the team in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per game.
The two teams met last season at the McCann Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, with Hartford coming out on top, 49-32.
