Evans scored four
goals in a come-from-behind victory over Lehigh, 9-8 on Saturday. Evans contributed the game-winning goal with
34 seconds to go. Additionally Evans
picked up two ground balls and caused one turnover. Evans was named “Mr.
Clutch” by Inside Lacrosse on Sunday for his efforts against Lehigh.

Hotaling made 10 saves in 58 minutes of play in a 9-8
win over Lehigh. The senior was strong
in net, just letting seven goals get by him, recording a .588 save percentage
in the process. The Hawks earned their
first win in the 2009 season.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
SIMON GIOURMETAKIS,

Edmonton, Alberta/Center
Giourmetakis chipped in three points on a pair of
goals and an assist in his first collegiate game against No. 16 Colgate.
Giourmetakis posted an assist on the Griffs’ first goal of the season for his
first career point. He then scored two second-half goals as Canisius narrowly
lost the nationally-ranked Raiders.
