Three Former MAAC Stars Play in England Basketball League All-Star Game

Edison, NJ - Three former MAAC women's basketball players competed in the Division I England Basketball League All-Star Game on Sunday, February 8th. Sabra Wrice, Jill Glessner, and Caitlin Flood competed for the 'Rest of the World' team that defeated Team England, 79-66.
Wrice, a former star at Fairfield, scored 11 points and had three rebounds in the game. She currently plays for Team Northumbria,where she averages 27.7 points per game and 10.1 rebounds per game. Wrice was a two-time All-MAAC First Team selection while at Fairfield.
Glessner, a Loyola standout from 2003 to 2007, posted a game-high 13 rebounds and added four points. She is averaging 23.5 points per game and 9.8 rebounds a contest for the Nottingham Wildcats. Glessner was an All-MAAC First Team selection in 2006-07.
Flood, who played at Manhattan from 2004 to 2008, scored three points in the game. She plays for the Manchester Mystics and is averaging 24 points per game and 8.2 rebounds. Flood was voted to the All-MAAC First Team last season.
