Niagara to Host Illinois State for ESPNU BracketBusters on February 20 on ESPN2

Edison, N.J. ? The first televised game of the seventh annual ESPNU BracketBusters will feature Niagara University hosting Illinois State University on Friday, February 20. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Taps Gallagher Center, and it will air live on ESPN2.
Niagara is now 21-7 overall and 12-4 in the MAAC. The Purple Eagles are led by junior guard Tyrone Lewis, who is averaging 16.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, and junior guard/forward Bilal Benn, who is registering 13.9 points and a league-best 8.9 rebounds a night.
Illinois State is currently 22-5 overall and 11-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Redbirds are led by senior guard Champ Oguchi, who is averaging 14.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, as well as junior guard Osiris Eldridge, who is contributing 14.0 points and 6.1 caroms an outing.
This contest marks the first meeting between the two programs.
