Two More MAAC Teams Will Be Televised during Saturday's ESPNU BracketBusters

Edison, N.J. ? Two more MAAC teams will be featured among the 12 remaining televised games during the seventh annual ESPNU BracketBusters.

 

Siena College will host the University of Northern Iowa at 3:00 p.m., live on ESPN2.  The Saints, 21-6 overall and 15-1 in the MAAC, are led by senior guard Kenny Hasbrouck, who is averaging 15.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, and junior guard/forward Edwin Ubiles, who is contributing 14.8 points and 5.3 rebounds an outing.  The Panthers, 18-9 overall and 12-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference, are led by junior forward Adam Koch, who is registering 11.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, as well as sophomore guard Kwadzo Ahelegbe, who is netting 11.0 points and dishing out 3.2 assists a night. 

 

Fairfield University will take on Hofstra University at the Arena at Harbor Yard at 7:00 p.m., live on ESPN360.com.  The Stags, 15-12 overall and 8-8 in the MAAC, are paced by junior forward Greg Nero, who is averaging 12.9 points and 6.6 caroms per game, and senior guard Herbie Allen, who is adding 8.4 points and 2.6 assists per game.  The Pride, 18-9 overall and 10-6 in the Colonial Athletic Association, is led by sophomore guard Charles Jenkins, who is contributing 18.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, and junior guard Cornelius Vines, who is registering 10.6 points and 2.3 rebounds a night.
