MAAC Player of the Week

 

BAENDU LOWENTHAL, FAIRFIELD

Senior, Forward, 5-11, Riverside, NJ/Riverside

Lowenthal recorded her seventh double-double of the year in leading the Stags to a win at Siena. It was the first win of her career in Loudonville. Lowenthal finished with 18 points and had 13 rebounds. The senior went 7-8 from the free throw line, and also drained a three-pointer, her eighth of the season, and her second in as many games. She recorded a pair of steals and blocked a shot in playing 33 minutes.

 

KELLY REGAN, MANHATTAN

Senior, Center, 6-3, Williamsville, NY/Nichols

Regan tallied a career-high 29 points in Manhattan’s 91-82 loss to Marist on Thursday night.  She went 13-for-22 from the field, including 1-for-2 from downtown, in the game.  Regan added a game-high eight rebounds and two blocks in 38 minutes of action.

SAKARA HOUSE, SAINT PETER'S

Freshman, Guard, 5-7, Springfield, OH/Kenton Ridge

 

House continued to improve her already outstanding freshman season as a Peahen. On Monday night against Canisius, she dished six assists and grabbed four steals, while turning the ball over once. She picked up her efforts on Saturday afternoon at Rider, where she scored a career-high 20 points, and hauled in 8 rebounds. Her five steal effort improves her 3.0 steals/game pace, which leads the MAAC and is among the nation’s leaders.
