Moran scored four
goals Saturday in VMI’s first win of the season, a 9-7 victory over
Presbyterian. Three of the goals came in the first half, allowing VMI to stay
close early on before taking the decisive fourth quarter lead. The four goals
equal the career-high for the junior midfielder, who is VMI’s top returning
scorer from the 2008 season and was named to the preseason All-MAAC team.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Jack stopped 10 shots while yielding nine goals against
No. 12 Princeton. The senior helped the Griffs earn a halftime lead by stopping
8-of-10 shots on goal during the first two periods of play.
MAAC Rookie of the Week

Virgil, Ontario/Niagara District
Neufeld scored two goals in his first collegiate game
at #4 Johns Hopkins Friday night. He tied the game 1-1 and gave Siena a 3-2
lead with his goals in the first quarter. He also had two ground balls.
