Niagara to Host Siena this Friday on ESPNU

Edison, N.J. ? The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2008-09 MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with Niagara University hosting Siena College on Friday, February 27. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Gallagher Center, and it will air live on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network.
Siena is currently 22-6 overall and 15-1 in the MAAC. The Saints are led by senior guard Kenny Hasbrouck, who is averaging 15.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, and junior guard/forward Edwin Ubiles, who is registering 14.6 points and 5.4 rebounds a night.
Niagara is now 22-7 overall and 12-4 in league play. The Purple Eagles are led by junior guard Tyrone Lewis, who is averaging 16.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, and junior guard/forward Bilal Benn, who is registering 13.9 points and a league-best 9.0 rebounds a night.
Siena won the first meeting this year on January 24, with a 82-65 victory over Niagara at the Times Union Center, home of the 2009 Citizens Bank MAAC Basketball Championships.
