MAAC Concludes 2008-09 MAAC Basketball Television Regular Season Schedule with Fairfield at Rider on Sunday

Edison, N.J. ? The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference will conclude its 2008-09 MAAC Basketball Television Regular Season Schedule on Sunday, March 1, with Fairfield University taking on Rider University at Alumni Gymnasium at 2:00 p.m., live on the MSG Network.
Fairfield stands at 16-13 overall and 9-8 in the MAAC. The Stags are led by junior forward Greg Nero, who is averaging 12.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Senior guard Herbie Allen is contributing 8.8 points and 2.8 assists an outing for Fairfield.
Rider is now 17-11 overall and 11-6 in league play. The Broncs are led by junior guard Ryan Thompson, who averaging 17.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Senior guard Harris Mansell is registering 12.0 points and 4.0 caroms a night.
Rider won the first meeting this season on January 23, with a 66-49 victory over Fairfield at Alumni Hall.
