Justin Robinson, Rider

Sophomore, Guard, 6-2, 185, London, England/Blair Academy

Robinson, a sophomore guard, scored a career-high 25 points to lead Rider to a 90-88 win over Siena on Saturday.  With Rider trailing Siena, 67-54, midway through the second half, he netted six points in a 10-2 run to cut the Siena lead to 69-64 with 8:05 left to play.  Robinson shot 75 percent from the field (9-12), 83.3 percent from three-point range (5-6) and 100 percent from the free throw line (2-2).  He also recorded three rebounds, two assists and one steal in a career-high 35 minutes played.  

 

 

 

MAAC Rookie of the Week

 

Novar Gadson, Rider

Freshman, Guard/Forward, 6-7, 215, Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram

Gadson, a freshman guard/forward, registered 17 points and four rebounds in Rider's 90-88 win over Siena.  He also added four assists, two steals and one block in 31 minutes of action.  Gadson scored three points in Rider's 10-0 run to take a 74-73 lead for the 11^th and final lead change of the contest.
