Marist's Erin McCarthy Earns MAAC Women's Tennis Weekly Award

Edison, NJ - Erin McCarthy, a freshman from Marist College, was named the MAAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week.
McCarthy won an exciting three-set match against Army on Sunday March 8 at the Litchberg Tennis Center on the West Point campus. She defeated Patricia Vollmer by winning the final two sets of the match. The final score was 3-6, 6-4, 10-6. It was her first singles win of the season.
The MAAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will take place from April 16th through April 19th at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
