Garrigan finished the week
with 22 points on 18 goals and four assists, helping the Saints to a 3-2
record. She posted seven goals and three assists against Gannon at the
Wolverine Invitational and added five goals and an assists versus Marist. In
total, three of her goals were 6-on-5 and three more were 5-meter goals. She
added five steals and drew three ejections.

Getchius posted 45 saves on
the week as Marist went 3-1 at the Wolverine Invitational. She had a goals
against average of 7.25, allowing just five goals against both Mercyhurst and
Gannon, and had a save percentage of .608.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
CECILIA LEONARD,

UT, Fr., 5-9,
Plantation, FL/South Plantation
Leonard continued her
strong rookie season and helped Iona to a 3-1 weekend at the Wolverine
Invitational. Leonard scored in each of Iona’s wins. She netted two goals and
handed out an assist in the 8-4 win over Mercyhurst. In the 15-9 win over
Villanova, Leonard had a hat trick, an assist and a team-leading four steals.
Leonard led the team with five goals, her highest single game total of the
season and the team’s second highest, two steals and a field block as Iona
downed Gannon 13-9.
