MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

JORDAN LOFTUS, SIENA
A, Jr., 6-1, Watertown, NY/Immaculate Heart Central

Loftus scored five goals and had two assists in Siena’s 16-9 win at Manhattan on Saturday. Loftus had three goals and one assist in Siena’s sizzling end of the third quarter where they scored five goals in just under three minutes and extended an 8-6 lead to 13-6 entering the fourth quarter. He also had four ground balls in the game. Loftus had three goals on the season prior to this game and never had more than one in a single game.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

ROBERT BRYAN, PROVIDENCE
GK, Sr., 5-7, Apex, NC/Garden City

Bryan played 60:00 minutes in goal, recording a 4.00 goals against average and an .800 save percentage in a 1-0 week for the Friars. He tied a career high with 16 saves while allowing only four goals in Providence’s 5-4 win over Canisius on Saturday. Bryan had three key saves in the final quarter to secure the win for the Friars. His performance against the Golden Griffins helped PC start 3-0 in the MAAC for the second-consecutive season.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

BRYAN NEUFELD, SIENA
A, Fr., 5-10, Virgil, Ontario/Niagara District

Neufeld tallied five points in Siena’s 16-9 win at Manhattan on Saturday. He scored all three of his goals and had both of his assists in the second half when Siena pulled away from Manhattan. Neufeld leads the team with 18 goals and 26 points this season.
