Coleman
led the Stags to their second consecutive win over Boston College, with a
seven-point effort. She scored six goals, scoring both of her two free position
shots, and had one assist. Coleman tallied the Stags first two goals, for 1-0
and 2-1 leads, and then tallied a pair of goals and assisted on another, during
a five-goal run, to put the Stags ahead 8-2.
Her final goal came with 14:34 left in the game, snapping a 3-0 BC run
that had cut the Stags lead to only three goals, starting another 5-0 run to
put the game away.

Brown stood tall in goal in Manhattan’s two wins this
week, an 18-10 win over Lafayette on Wednesday and a 19-4 victory over Long
Island on Sunday. In the two games, she
only allowed 14 goals for a 7.00 goals against average, with 14 saves in each
match for a .667 save percentage. She
also had a total of 12 ground balls in the two matches.
MAAC Rookie of the Week

GUTENBERGER, MANHATTAN
M, Fr., 5-6, Stony
Point, NY/North Rockland
Gutenberger tallied a total of eight goals (four in
each match), as well as serving off two assists, in the Lady Jaspers’ two wins
this week, an 18-10 victory over Lafayette and a 19-4 victory over Long Island.
Her four goals came on six shots in the Lafayette match and came on seven shots
in the LIU game. She also had four
ground balls and two caused turnovers in the two wins this week for the Lady
Jaspers who are now 3-1 on the young season.
