Loftus scored
four goals and had two assists in Siena’s 12-4 win at VMI Saturday. After
scoring eight points in his first six games at Siena, Loftus has caught fire in
the last three games tallying 17 points (12 G, 5 A).
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Jack led the Griffs to two victories during the week,
posting a goals against average of 5.00 and a save percentage of .697. The
senior was especially impressive during the second half, posting a goals
against average of 2.00 and a save percentage of .889. Jack recorded eight
saves in the Griffs’ 7-6 victory against Robert Morris on Tuesday, including
four stops in the fourth quarter as Canisius rallied from a 6-3 deficit. Jack
then matched a career high with 15 saves, while yielding just four goals
against Wagner. He stopped all 11 shots he faced during the second half to help
turn a 4-4 halftime tie into a 7-4 victory.

Haney led the Griffs offense during a 2-0 week,
totaling four points on three goals and an assist. In Canisius’ 7-6 victory
over Robert Morris, Haney recorded a career-high three points on two goals and
assist, all coming during the second half as Canisius rallied from a three-goal
fourth-quarter deficit to win. Haney scored the game-winning goal, the first of
his career, with just 1:00 left in regulation. The freshman then added a man-up
goal in the Griffs’ 7-4 victory over Wagner on Saturday.
