In the fourth inning, Spaulding allowed a leadoff triple, but promptly struck out the next three batters to escape the jam.

In four MAAC contests, Carter recorded a hit in each game, and extended his current streak of reaching base to twelve straight games - every Peacocks’ game in April. He recorded a .462 batting average for the week. Of his six hits for the week, two were triples - including the game-winning RBI against Canisius in the first game of their series on Saturday. In the Peacocks’ win at Fairfield on Tuesday, Carter scored the deciding run.
