MAAC Announces 2009 Men's and Women's Golf All-Academic Teams

Edison, N.J. ? A total of 25 athletes comprise the 2009 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Golf All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Fairfield University led all schools with five student-athletes named to the teams. Iona College and Manhattan College each had four members named to the teams. Canisius College and Siena College both added three student-athletes, while Loyola College and Niagara University has two members each. Rider University and Saint Peter’s College rounded out the teams with one student-athlete apiece.
