MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

NINA CAMAIONI, LOYOLA

OH, Jr., 5-10, Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown

Camaioni was a big part of the Greyhounds 3-1 performance in the Battle of Baltimore. Playing in all 14 sets, Camaioni lead the team with 70 kills and averaged 5.00 kills per set. Camaioni posted a career-high 23 kills to open the weekend against Morgan State, went on to record 18 and 12 against Towson and Navy and capped off the weekend with 17 in Loyola's 3-1 upset win over Maryland. Camaioni was also named to the all-tournament team.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

SAM MORGAN, NIAGARA

L, So., 5-9, Cincinnati, OH/Colerain

Morgan continued her hot defensive start with 106 digs in for matches. She continued her double-digit dig streak to 37 matches, every match she has every played in, this week, a streak that ranks fifth in the country. She achieved a career-high total with 37 digs in the five-set match against Syracuse on Tuesday. She also recorded 28 digs in a three-set match this weekend. Overall for the week, Morgan averaged 6.62 digs per set. She was named to the UNCW All-Tournament team.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

AUBREY KIRVEN, LOYOLA

S, Fr., 5-7, Hartsville, OH/Lake

The rookie setter once again had another standout week for Loyola. Kirven was named to her first collegiate all-tournament team after tallying 146 kills, 30 digs, seven kills and two blocks in all 14 sets played in the Battle of Baltimore. Against Maryland, Kirven picked up a double-double with 41 assists, 11 digs and four kills.
