Geehan averaged a
double-double for the week at 16 points and 14.5 rebounds per game, shooting 50
percent from behind the arc in the two games. She also blocked 12 shots, dished
out five assists and had two steals. Geehan knocked down 5-10 from behind the arc
on the week, with a career-best 4-6
against Manhattan. She finished with her 12th double-double, and third straight, against the
Jaspers with 19 points and 19 rebounds. It marked her third 19-rebound game of
the season. Geehan hit 58.3 percent from the field and added three assists
against the Jaspers. She scored 13 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and blocked
seven shots in the win over the Broncs. She shot 46.4 percent from the field on
the week.

DIANA HUBBARD, IONA
Freshman, Guard, 5-7, East Orange, NJ/Bloomfield Tech
In two wins last week, the
Iona rookie pitched in with 7.5 points, four rebounds, and one steal per game.
She netted six points against Manhattan, hitting 2-of-3 from three-point range.
In a close first half vs. the Jaspers, it was Hubbard's trifecta with 3:42 on
the clock that put Iona ahead for good in the contest. Against Niagara, the
first-year guard added nine points and four boards with an assist and a steal.
Hubbard is averaging 7.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game in
conference play.
