Saint Peter's to Host Manhattan on January 31 on ESPNU

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference continues its 2009-10 MAAC Basketball Television Schedule with Saint Peter's College hosting Manhattan College on Sunday, January 31. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m., and will air live on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network.
Manhattan, 7-14 overall and 2-9 in the MAAC, is led by junior guard Rico Pickett, who is contributing a league-high 17.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, and senior guard/forward Darryl Crawford, who is posting 14.7 points and 6.0 rebounds an outing for the Jaspers.
Saint Peter's, 12-9 overall and 7-4 in the MAAC, is led by junior guard Wesley Jenkins, who is registering 13.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, and junior guard Nick Leon, who is averaging 13.3 points and 2.7 caroms an outing for the Peacocks.
Manhattan won the first matchup this season with a 76-53 win over Saint Peter's on January 8 at Draddy Gymnasium. Pickett scored 19 points and Manhattan shot 60 percent from the field en route to earning the victory. The Jaspers made 30 of 50 field goal attempts and shot 63.6 percent in the second half (14-for-22). Crawford and Brandon Adams added 15 points apiece for the Jaspers. Leon led Saint Peter's with 12 points. Manhattan has played Saint Peter's 111 times, more than any other opponent, since 1922-23.
