Chick fil A is the Official Sponsor of 2010 MAAC Soccer Championships

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and Loyola University Maryland are pleased to announce its partnership with Chick fil A® to be the official sponsor for the 2010 MAAC Men's and Women's Soccer Championships, which will be held at Loyola's Ridley Athletic Complex.

"Chick fil A® is very proud and it is our pleasure to be a part of the MAAC Soccer Championships," said Michael Hutton, store owner of the Chick-fil-A located at 10142 York Rd. in Cockeysville, Md. As part of their agreement with the MAAC and Loyola, Chick fil A® will be the title sponsor of the Most Valuable Player award for both championships. Chick fil A® will also distribute coupons to the general public during the 2010 MAAC Soccer Championships.

"When Loyola University was awarded the rights to host both MAAC Soccer Championships in the inaugural year of the Ridley Athletic Complex, it was envisioned the league would highlighting its premier fall sports in a world-class facility with the best atmosphere possible for the competing student-athletes," notes MAAC Commissioner Rich Ensor. "Having Chick fil A® as the official sponsor of the event will provide the conference with some of the essential support needed to fulfill that promise, and the MAAC appreciates Chick-fil-A's commitment to the championships."

Loyola will host the 2010 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship presented by Chick fil A®, on November 5th and 7th. The 2010 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship presented by Chick fil A® will take place on November 12th and 14th at the Baltimore, Md. campus. The Greyhounds' men's and women's programs will both be defending their 2009 championship titles.
