MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

SAMANTHA GOOD, CANISIUS

MH, So., 5-10, Rochester, NY/Greece-Arcadia

Good led Canisius with a 3.56 kills per set average and 1.11 blocks per set to go along with a .435 attack percentage in two matches last week. The 5-foot-10 middle hitter had 19 kills and a .485 attack percentage in the five-set match against Iona while posting 13 kills and a .379 attack percentage in the four-set win over Fairfield. Good also had six blocks against Iona and 10 blocks total on the weekend.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

ALLYSON SEVERYN, CANISIUS

L, So., 5-5, Lancaster, NY/St. Mary's Lancaster

Severyn averaged 6.11 digs per set and had a .958 service reception percentage in two matches last week. The 5-foot-5 libero recorded a career-high 35 digs in the five-set match against Iona and also had 20 digs in the four-set win against Iona. Severyn posted a service reception percentage over 95 percent in each match, going 46-for-48 on the weekend.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

GRACE HILL, MARIST

OH, Fr., 5-11, Portage, MI/Portage Northern

Hill led Marist with 32 kills on the weekend, including a match-high 19 kills in Marist's five-set victory over Rider on Oct. 9. Hill also tallied 11 digs against Rider for her sixth double-double of the season. Against Siena on Oct. 10, Hill finished with 13 kills and nine digs. She also added two service aces and three blocks against the Saints to help the Red Foxes complete their weekend sweep of MAAC opponents. For the week, Hill averaged 3.56 kills per set and 4.06 points per set.
