MAAC Announces 2010-11 MSG Basketball Television Schedule

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the MSG Network have announced the television schedule of MAAC games for the 2011 men's and women's basketball seasons.
The MSG Network will once again be the primary carrier for the MAAC Basketball Game of the Week. MSG will carry nine regular season men's games as well as the men's quarterfinal and semifinal games of the 2011 MAAC Men's Basketball Championship at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn.
The MAAC will also televise two regular season women's basketball games on the MSG Network. MSG will also televise the women's semifinals of the 2011 MAAC Women's Basketball Championship.
The first televised game of the season will be on Saturday, January 22, featuring host Marist College against Loyola University Maryland at 2:00 p.m., both on MSG and MASN. On Sunday, January 23, Saint Peter's College will take on Manhattan College at 12:00 p.m. on MSG.
Marist will host another afternoon tilt on Sunday, January 30, when they take on Manhattan at 12:00 p.m. on MSG. The following evening, Fairfield University will host Canisius College for a 7:30 p.m. contest on MSG.
The February schedule will start in Western New York, as Niagara University hosts Marist on Sunday, February 6, for a 3:00 p.m. game on MSG. MSG will also televise the matchup between Manhattan and host Iona College on Monday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, February 13, Loyola will host Canisius at 12:00 p.m., live on MSG Plus and MASN.
The MAAC Television Network will air a men's and women's basketball doubleheader on Monday, January 24 at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y. The Siena College women's program will host Saint Peter's at 5:00 p.m., followed by the Saints against the Rider University men's team at 7:00 p.m. Both games will air on MSG Plus.
Alumni Gymnasium, Rider's home court, will be the site of the second MAAC Television Network doubleheader on Sunday, February 27, to close out the regular season. The Broncs will play the Niagara women at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Rider men against Saint Peter's at 1:00 p.m. Both games can be seen on MSG Plus.
