SAMANTHA PANZNER, MARIST
M, Fr., 5-4, Livingston, N.J./Livingston
Panzner, a freshman midfielder, scored three goals in two games to kick off the week. In a non-conference match with Yale, she scored her first collegiate goal to half the Bulldogs lead from 2-0 to 2-1. Against the Peahens in the MAAC opener for both teams, Panzner scored both goals for Marist en route to a 2-0 triumph, her first career two-goal performance.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
LESLEY IVINAC, CANISIUS
GK, Sr., 6-0, Hamilton, Ontario/Bishop Ryan
Ivinac, a senior goalkeeper, helped lead Canisius to a perfect 2-0 start in MAAC play this weekend. She recorded 11 saves and allowed just two goals against rivals Loyola and Rider. On Friday, Ivinac helped the Griffs secure their first win over Loyola in program history, tallying three saves. She followed that up with an eight-save performance against Rider, securing her seventh win and second shutout of the season.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
DIDI HARACIC, LOYOLA
GK, Fr., 5-8, Round Valley, Va./Loudon Valley
Haracic, a freshman goalkeeper, made the first two starts of her collegiate career last weekend and combined with Danielle Ippolito to record a shutout against Niagara on Sunday. She made a sliding save in the 11th minute against the Purple Eagles. Haracic had 11 saves between the two games.
