MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

Wilken led Niagara with 25 kills, 3.12 kills per set, a 4.62
hitting percentage and six blocks as the Purple Eagles swept Fairfield and Iona
over the weekend. Wilken had 11 kills against Fairfield and 14 at Iona, while
committing one error. Wilken was strong on the defense, too. She had three
block assists against the Stags and one block solo and two block assists versus
Iona.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Havens notched 1.50 blocks and 2.92 kills per set while hitting
.351 in the Lady Jaspers' 3-0 week.
Against FDU on Wednesday night, Havens recorded eight blocks (including
three solos) in Manhattan's 3-0 victory.
She added 12 kills on .360 hitting in the non-conference triumph. Then on Saturday, Havens posted four blocks
and 13 kills on .435 hitting in a 3-1 win at Marist. To wrap up the week, she recorded six blocks
to go along with 10 kills, as the Lady Jaspers beat Siena in five to complete
their first-ever season sweep of the Saints.
MAAC Rookie of the Week

Pawelec averaged 3.38 kills per set and hit .351 in Iona's
1-1 weekend against two of the leaders of the MAAC standings in Canisius and
Niagara. Pawelec hit a team best .474 with 11 kills on 19 attempts in a
three-set sweep of the Golden Griffins on Saturday. She had a team best 16
kills against the Purple Eagles on Sunday. Pawelec was perfect on 14 service
receptions while adding seven digs and two blocks.
