TABITHA TICE, SIENA
M/F, Sr., 5-7, Manlius, N.Y./Fayetteville-Manlius
Tice, a senior midfielder/forward, scored the game-winning goals in each of the Saints' victories over Fairfield and Iona. Against the Stags, she scored the golden goal with just over two minutes left in overtime. Against the Gaels, Tice also scored the game winner and assisted on the Saints' second goal. She finished the weekend with two game-winning goals and five total points.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
ALEX POST, RIDER
GK, Sr., 5-7, Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks West
Post, a senior goalkeeper, made 10 saves for her sixth shutout of the season as Rider defeated Loyola, 1-0, to earn a spot in the 2010 Chick-fil-A MAAC Women's Soccer Championship. The victory marked first win program's win over the Greyhounds.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
BRIANNA SMITH, CANISIUS
F, Fr., 5-5, Buffalo, N.Y./Nichols
Smith, a freshman forward, recorded two goals and one assist during the final weekend of the season. In Sunday's victory over Saint Peter's, she scored her 13th and 14th goals of 2010 and also added a helper in the afternoon matinee. Smith concludes her freshman season with 33 points, which is tied for the team lead.
