Baltimore, Md. - Top-seeded Saint Peter's College defeated fourth-seeded Loyola University Maryland in the second semifinal of the 2010 Chick-fil-A MAAC Men's Soccer Championship at Loyola's Ridley Athletic Complex.

Loyola freshman back Jamie Libby headed in a 35-yard indirect kick by sophomore back Kevin Curran in the 20th minute to give the Greyhounds a 1-0 lead.  Saint Peter's senior midfielder Lebogang Pila then tied the game up in the 32nd minute by tapping in his fifth goal of the season, aided by senior forward Dmitri Pelts and the MAAC Defensive Player of the Year Assaf Sheleg.

Pila went one to score the game-winning goal in the 106th minute, sending on a cross from Mauricio Jimenez into the left side of the goal to send the Peacocks to their first MAAC Championship appearance since 2007.

Carlos Suarez recorded two saves in goal for the Peacocks.  Kyle Wittman closed out the season with four saves between the pipes for the Greyhounds.

Saint Peter's, who advanced to its fourth overall MAAC championship final, will face third-seeded Iona College on Sunday, November 14 at 1:00 p.m.  The winner of that match will earn the MAAC's automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Men's College Cup.
